There’s a class war going down

One thing that even the dim bulbs in the media should understand by now is that there is in fact a class war going on, and it is the rich and powerful who are waging it. Anyone who does anything that empowers the little people or that threatens the wealth and power of the plutocracy must be destroyed. There is a reason for these clowns going after Think Progress and unions, just like there is a reason they are targeting wikileaks and Glenn Greenwald, Planned Parenthood, and Acorn.

Kanye West had it wrong, George Bush didn’t care about POOR people.  And Obama in many ways is actually worse.  Obama gives lip service to the cause of justice, mouthing empty words of liberty and equality.  But equality cannot exist in a system with such incredible gaps between rich and poor.  If they ever quit doctoring the unemployment numbers, we might be looking at genuine unrest.  The best we can hope for is to go the way of Tunisia and Egypt.  I don’t know if Americans have enough restraint to make that work.

“There’s a war going down…”

I keep thinking of Operation Ivy’s song, Unity.  It might be nice to have some of that.

Don’t go walking into any doorknobs, fanboy.

Essentially, Apple’s patent provides for a device to investigate a user’s identity, ostensibly to determine if and when that user is “unauthorized,” or, in other words, stolen. More specifically, the technology would allow Apple to record the voice of the device’s user, take a photo of the device’s user’s current location or even detect and record the heartbeat of the device’s user. Once an unauthorized user is identified, Apple could wipe the device and remotely store the user’s “sensitive data.” Apple’s patent application suggests it may use the technology not just to limit “unauthorized” uses of its phones but also shut down the phone if and when it has been stolen.

How many customers will Apple lose once this shit drops?  Probably none, since they seem to be a bunch of brainwashed fanboys/girls.  It really is like an abusive relationship you guys have with Apple.  They impinge upon your rights or capabilities and you just make excuses.

My new hero!

In short order, his gray two-story house on Beach 128th Street in the Rockaways, just off the ocean, was swarmed by detectives and uniformed officers from New York City and the Port Authority. “It was like there was a hostage in there,” said Curt Krakowski, who was working on the deck of a house across the street.

This guy is awesome.  He cussed the prick out, grabbed a beer, and hit the chute.  Good on ya!

People with personalized credit cards that incorporate a photo of their car will be charged a $200 “douche charge.”

Now that one I could actually get behind.  The rest of them are probably on the way.

You might think these fees are ridiculous, but remember that, while being able to charge people money for spending money may seem like an easy road to profit, it’s a slightly more difficult road to massive megaprofit. If you’ll look deep into your hearts, you’ll find that you’ve already checked a box legally obligating you to agree.
